I have a friend, Megan, who asked me like a year ago to come up with a delish Cinnamon Roll Overnight Oats recipe and I am a total failure as a friend.
I mean, seriously, a year? I suck.
But it could also be because my subconscious was waiting for this perfect ingredient to come along and be all like USE ME! And I said OK!
Breakfast is served! Or dessert! Or both!
Fo realz, I think I am in love. I always worried that I couldn’t be able to get the flavors down without incorporating a ton of junk, but now I’ve got flavor and nutrition on my side.
So, can I talk about how much I love OLLY? It’s gluten free, vegan, and made from whole food sources. You can definitely feed good about that. The Velvet Vanilla has such a smooth flavor, you kind of forget how good it is for you, which is a win-win, especially when trying to feed chicken nugget hungry children.
To really keep these cinnamon roll overnight oats delicious, I incorporated two heaping scoops of OLLY‘s Vanilla Nourishing Smoothie Protein Powder, some cream cheese, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and vanilla almond milk.
The next morning, I swirled in a small amount of cinnamon roll frosting, to really get that taste right, and man did it ever deliver.
Seriously, I almost didn’t share. I wanted it all for meeeeeeeeeee.
But then the kids got angry and one started crying and I felt like a bad mom cause I was totally kidding so I had to give them back.
It was a rough five seconds, I’ll tell ya what.

You literally can’t go wrong with any of that. Nope. So get to it, and then make some cinnamon roll overnight oats to celebrate!
Ingredients
- ½ C Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 2 Scoops OLLY Vanilla Nourishing Smoothie Protein Powder
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Cream Cheese, softened
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- ¾ C Vanilla Almond Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- In a bowl or jar, combine the oats, protein powder, cream cheese, sugar, and cinnamon. Add the almond milk and vanilla extract, then stir thoroughly to combine.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, uncover, gently stir, and enjoy!
Notes
*Prep Time does not denote refrigeration time. I recommend making it before bed and letting it sit overnight, otherwise 8 hours is sufficient.
**If you'd like to top it with some cinnamon roll style frosting, simply whisk together a teaspoon of softened cream cheese with two tablespoons of powdered sugar and a teaspoon or two of milk!
